FCA FLEET SERVICES CELEBRATES HIGHER HIRE RATING

The contract hire company of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK, FCA Fleet Services, is celebrating a leap into the top half of the influential FN50 listing for the first time in its history.

The FN50 is an annual rating published by Fleet News highlighting the top UK contract hire and leasing companies in the UK.

FCA FS, which provides personal and business contract hire and related services for Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Abarth, Fiat Professional and Maserati customers, moved into the higher half of the important FN50 listing with a placing of 24 - up from last year's position of 31.

The rise also signified that FCA FS is the fastest growing leasing company, in percentage terms, in the UK for 2016. Its 2,569-unit increase represented a 53.4 per cent leap.

Almost all the growth came from cars, which rose from 4,386 to 6,902, underpinned by Fiat's increase in fleet registrations over the past 12 months - up almost 81 per cent to end user fleets (7,108 units) as registrations to leasing companies reduced slightly by 9 per cent (453 units).
