A raft of new appointments have been announced by Leasys, the mobility solutions and long term rental group controlled by FCA Bank, where Alberto Grippo has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.

Giacomo Carelli (FCA Bank's CEO) maintains his role as Chairman of the Board.

Italian Alberto Grippo holds a university degree in Economics and began his professional career in the UK. At FCA Bank since 2000, he has gained considerable experience in the automotive finance industry where FCA Bank is among the most relevant European players.

Married with three children, Alberto's latest assignment was in Madrid where, from 2015, he led the operations of FCA Bank in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. It was in this role that, after taking FCA Bank's first step outside Europe with the successful launch of the Moroccan operation, he led the implementation of the first European branch of Leasys in Spain.

Alberto Grippo will now lead Leasys, a long established player within the mobility and rental arena, towards the consolidation of its operations and will continue to implement its internationalisation strategy which, beginning in 2017, has already led to its expansion into six countries outside of Italy.

Further organisational changes have been announced in leading roles at Leasys' international operations: Roberto Bellavia, formerly of Leasys UK, replaces Danny Meulenberghs as the head of Leasys Belgium. Replacing Roberto, leadership of Leasys UK is assigned to Sebastiano Fedrigo, who joins from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK.
