MOTOR VILLAGE UK HOSTS INSPIRATIONAL NEW ART EXHIBITION

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ flagship dealer Motor Village UK has once again been chosen as the venue for a top art exhibition – this time a charity fundraising event on behalf of wounded armed forces personnel.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' flagship dealer Motor Village UK has once again been chosen as the venue for a top art exhibition - this time a charity fundraising event on behalf of wounded armed forces personnel.

The Wigmore Street, London site - usually home to FCA cars such as the Fiat 500, Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Abarth 124 spider and Jeep Renegade - was converted last night (17 November) into a stylish gallery and drinks reception to showcase world famous photographer Rankin's latest stunning collection.

The images have been compiled for a specially designed book which will raise money for ‘Coming Home', the fundraising campaign for Haig Housing Trust, a charity which buys and adapts housing for servicemen and women.

Motor Village Marylebone was chosen because of its central London position and unique design and space. Situated just off Oxford Street, the showroom was originally created in 2008 with future exhibitions, displays and receptions in the plans, as well as the ability to showcase and sell cars.

"The evening included an exhibition, reception, book presentation, and art auction, and we were delighted that Motor Village agreed to host us, as it's a perfect and unique place for this type of event," says Monica Colussi, artist liaison agent.

"We're very happy to host this Rankin exhibition and important fundraising effort at Motor Village," says Fabio di Prima, managing director, Motor Village UK. "We were again able to combine a first class reception and worthwhile exhibition with our unique showroom environment. I am delighted that the evening was a great success."

Just 500 examples of the special book ‘For Queen & Country' - which was launched at the charity evening - will be sold. Fifty of these books are ‘special' limited editions costing £500 each and presented in a sleeve with Rankin's signature. The other 450 are limited editions with a silver foil wrapping priced at £250 each.
